Fort Wayne FC looked like it was on its way to three points in Charlotte.

Tiago Dias put Fort Wayne ahead in the 82nd minute after Charlotte's Christopher Jaime was sent off following a second yellow in the 63rd. But Stefano Pinho equalized in the 89th minute, leaving Fort Wayne with a 1-1 draw.

Bernd Schipmann played a major role in keeping Fort Wayne in the match, making several excellent saves in his 99th USL League One appearance. Dias also turned in a strong defensive performance, while Ryan Becher provided the assist.

Fort Wayne finished with 55% possession and 11 shots, while Charlotte had 14 shots and five shots on target.
