Fort Wayne FC earned a massive 1–0 road victory over Union Omaha on Saturday, ending the Owls’ 26-match home unbeaten streak and strengthening the club’s push for the USL League One playoffs.

Taig Healy scored the decisive goal in the 25th minute, assisted by Clarence Awoudor. Fort Wayne’s aggressive first-half pressing and defensive intensity helped disrupt Omaha, even while the hosts controlled possession.

The biggest test came in the 70th minute, when Aleksandar Vukovic received a second yellow card. Down to 10 men, Fort Wayne held on against an Omaha attack that finished with 71% possession and 19 shots.

Bernd Schipmann made two crucial saves to preserve the clean sheet. With two regular-season matches remaining, this result could be pivotal in Fort Wayne’s pursuit of the eighth and final playoff spot.
